Bihar Board 12th Result 2024: The overall passing percentage of this year has shown a significant improvement. It has stood at 87.21%.

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) released the intermediate batches for 2023-24 on March 23. The board has also announced the list of top performers in other fields, including arts, commerce, and science. Following the declaration, the BSEB conducted a news conference in Patna’s Sinha Library Main Hall. During the conference, the board discussed the toppers’ names, total pass percentages, and other information. According to the news, this year’s overall passing percentage has improved significantly. It has remained at 87.21%.

According to the declaration, Tushar Kumar hailing from Dariapur, Saran has secured the first position with a total score of 482 out of 500. He belongs to the arts stream and has gained 96.4% of the score. He is followed by Mritunjay Kumar from Science, who has secured the second position in the state with 481 marks and 96.2%. Priya Kumar from commerce stream has secured 478 marks with 95.6%.

Simran Gupta and Varun Kumar from science finished fourth and fifth, respectively, with 477 marks in the 2023-24 exam.

The names on the list include students from average households who struggle financially. Some students’ fathers sell vegetables, while others are farmers. One of the most frequent characteristics among all students is their large hopes and ambitions.

According to a News18 report, Mrityunjay Kumar is from Siwan district. He attends GM High School in Barharia. His father, Rajesh Prasad, owns a grocery store in the area and provides for his family. Mrityunjay stated on News18 that he plans to prepare for the UPSC exam in the future.

Priya Kumar from Sheikhpura is a student of Mahatma Gandhi Adarsh High School in Barbigha. She mentioned that she is aspiring to pursue her career in the banking sector.

According to the BSEB, a total of 12,91,684 students, comprising 6,22,217 girls and 6,69,467 boys have appeared in the examination this year. Out of which, as many as 11,26,439 students have passed the exam.
