KSET 2023 Admit Card: KSET 2023 admit card is now available on cetonline.karnataka.gov.in . According to the schedule, the eligibility exam will be conducted on Saturday, January 13, 2024, in two shifts.

The Karnataka State Examination Authority (KEA) has released the Karnataka State Examination (KSET) Admit Card 2023 on January 2, 2024. The qualifying examination for the post of Assistant Professor is held in Karnataka.

Candidates who have registered for KSET 2023 can now download the hall tickets from the official website cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. To access the KSET Admit Card 2023, applicants need to enter the “Apply Class”, “KEA Application Number” and “Candidate Name (first 4 characters)” in the login window.

The aptitude test is scheduled to be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024, in two shifts. The KSET 2023 exam consists of two exam papers – Part I and Part II. from the exam part. The first lecture lasts from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., the second lecture from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The KSET 2023 exam will be held at various exam centers across the state. It should be noted that I. and II. essay consists entirely of objective multiple choice questions (MCQs). For the examinees I. and II. they must mark their answers to the exam on the optical mark reader (OMR) sheet attached to the exam booklet. No negative marks will be given for incorrect answers.

Step 4: The KSET 2023 admit card will appear on the screen.

KSET 2023: EXAM GUIDELINES

ll appearing candidates are requested to reach the examination centre at least one hour before the KSET 2023 exam.

– Those without the hall ticket/admit card will not be allowed to enter the exam hall or appear for the exam.

– Along with the admit card, candidates must bring a valid identity card as well.

– As Paper II starts at noon, candidates will not be allowed to leave the exam hall after Paper I.

– The OMR answer sheet will not be evaluated if the register number, subject code and center code are wrongly or not written.

Exam Pattern
The Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) exam comprises two papers, namely Paper-I and Paper-II. Paper 1 involves 50 questions, each carrying 2 marks, while Paper 2 includes 100 questions, also carrying 2 marks each. Importantly, no marks are deducted for incorrect answers.

Paper 1 covers a range of topics such as General Nature, Teaching/Research Aptitude, General Awareness, Reasoning, and Comprehension. On the other hand, Paper 2 focuses on subject-specific questions tailored to the respective field of study.

Important Instructions

  • Candidates are advised to take extra precautions to reach the examination centre at least one hour before the scheduled time.
  • No candidate will be allowed to appear at the examination centre other than that allotted to him/her in the admission ticket. Candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall only on production of Admission Ticket and valid Identity Card.
  • As the second session exam will commence at 12:00 Noon, candidates will not be allowed to leave the exam centre after the first session.
  • Candidates have to write the ‘Register Number’ and shade the respective circles pn the OMR sheet. Candidates have to enter the ‘Version Code’ on the OMR Answer Sheet and also shade the respective circles without making any mistakes.
  • The details of the scribe for the physically disabled who have entered in the ‘Scribe link’ are also provided in the admission ticket.
