UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist Exam 2023: Union Public Service Commission, UPSC has released the notification for Combined Geo-Scientist Exam 2023. According to which online applications have been invited from the candidates for the examination on the official website upsconline.nic.in. Note that the last date of application for the posts will be 11 October 2022.
At the same time, the recruitment exam will be conducted on 19 February 2023. Let us tell you that a total of 285 posts will be recruited through this examination. In which the posts of Geologist, Geophysicist, Chemist and Scientist B are included. Candidates will also have to pay ₹ 200 fee to apply. However, fee is waived for women, SC, ST and differently-abled candidates.
According to the released notification, candidates between 21 to 32 years can apply. However, relaxation will be given to the reserved category candidates. Talking about the selection process, the candidates will be selected on the basis of preliminary examination, main examination and interview. The candidates who are successful in the preliminary examination will be called for mains. Whereas those who clear both preliminary and mains will be called for interview.
