Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a notification regarding the 10th and 12th examination. In this notification, the date sheet has been issued regarding the examination. In the notification issued, it has been told that this examination will start from 15 February 2024 and will run till 10 April. However, during the Corona virus, the board had abandoned this rule. Students with less attendance in the examination also got a chance. But now when the situation is normal, the board has implemented this rule again. In such a situation, students will have to ensure 75 percent or more attendance by January 1.
According to media reports, the board told the schools last week that the students should give enrollment to the regional offices by January 5. After the schools get the list, it will be decided whether these students should take the exam or not. The board will take the final decision. Students will be able to appear in the examination after getting permission from the board.
CBSE Board Exam 2024: These students will get exemption in examination
Apart from this, the report suggests that the students who were selected in national or international sports competitions, Olympiads or science competitions. They may get exemption from the board examination to be held in February. The board examinations of such students will be held later. However, the list of these students will also have to be given to the regional offices by December 31.
