SSC CGL 2022: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the notification of Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Recruitment 2022. Along with this, the link to apply for SSC CGL Recruitment 2022 has also been activated from 17 September. The last date to apply for SSC CGL Recruitment 2022 is 8 October 2022. SSC has announced the recruitment of about 20 thousand vacancies through CGL 2022. So many vacancies through SSC CGL have come after many years. Now the recruitment process will be in two tier not four
SSC has made changes in the CGL recruitment process. SSC CGL recruitment exam was conducted in four tiers. But now it will be in only two tiers.

Merit list will be prepared on the basis of Tier-2 Exam Marks
In SSC CGL Recruitment 2022, the merit list of the candidates will be made on the basis of marks of Tier-2 exam only. Earlier the selection process was of four tiers. In which merit was made on the basis of marks of three tiers.

Questions related to GK, Reasoning and Computer will be asked in Tier-2
The Tier-II exam pattern of SSC CGL has now been completely changed. In Tier-2 exam, questions related to GK, Reasoning and Computer and Maths will be asked along with English.

Reduced Maths and English Questions
Questions from English and Maths have been reduced significantly in SSC CGL 2022 Tier-II exam. Earlier 100 questions of 200 marks were asked from English and 100 questions of 200 marks were asked from Maths. Now 30 questions will be from Maths and 45 questions from English.

Changed Marking Pattern
The marking pattern of SSC CGL Tier-2 has also been changed. Now each question of Maths, Reasoning, English, General Awareness and Computer Knowledge to be asked in Tier-2 exam will be of three marks.

Now there will be no descriptive paper
SAC has completely abolished the descriptive paper. The commission has decided to conduct the SSC CGL recruitment process in two tiers. Other tier tests have been added to Tier-2 itself.

These posts of SSC CHSL got included in CGL
Staff Selection Commission has added some posts of CHSL to CGL. These posts are- Postal Assistant and Sorting Assistant. Till now, recruitment to these posts was done through CHSL.
