Rules of the minimum qualifying score of group D RRB
The board is ready to release the final DR RRB Merit List after considering numerous factors. That is why they have communicated some rules that will help in its preparation. Minimum qualifying scores were prescribed, 40% scores for the non-reserved and EWS categories and 30% scores for the reserved category.

Pre-selection for the second stage is based on the normalization method used by the council.
Each candidate’s percentile score is converted to “normalized scores” by interpolating the raw scores into “base shift” using the standard interpolation mathematical formula to determine minimum qualifying scores and to weight CCAA candidates into grades.

Baseline change is defined as a stratum with the average or highest average of all CBT strata with the stipulation that its “current number of candidates” must be 70% or more than the average of all strata”.

If the “upper average” of two layers is the same, the layer with the “highest individual scores” is considered the “base layer”. If the “highest average” and the “highest individual score” are equal, the stratum with the “highest number of current candidates” is considered the “base stratum” to resolve the tie.
