The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has announced the final results for the UPPSC PCS 2023 test. Candidates who took the exam can view their results for the Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services (PCS) examination 2023 on UPPSC’s official website, uppsc.up.nic.in.
The commission has shortlisted 251 candidates for the UPPSC PCS 2023 test. This includes 167 male and 84 female pupils. Siddhartha Gupta of Deoband finished first in the exam, followed by Prem Shankar Pandey of Prayagraj in second and Satwik Srivastava of Hardoi in third.
The UPPSC PCS 2024 had announced that with this recruitment campaign, the commission hopes to fill around 253 openings for combined state/upper subordinate positions.
UPPSC PCS 2024: HOW TO CHECK RESULT
Step 1: Open the official website — uppsc.up.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services Examination 2024 result link on the homepage.
Step 3: Enter the required details. Submit.
Step 4: The UPPSC PCS 2023 result will appear on the screen.
Step 5: Download and keep a printout of the result for future use.
The UPPSC PCS main examination took place in Prayagraj and Lucknow on September 26-29, 2023. The exam was administered in two shifts: 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 5 p. A total of 3658 students took the main exam. While 451 of the applicants who took the exam passed the main examination. Later, the UPPSC conducted interviews. Candidates are selected based on their performance in the preliminary examination, which is followed by the main examination (written) and an interview.
A total of 5,65,459 candidates applied for the UPPSC PCS 2023 examination. Out of the total, 3,45,022 candidates appeared in the prelims exam held on May 14, 2023. A total of 4047 candidates successfully qualified in the prelims exam.
Candidates must note that if the details provided by the candidate in the application are found to be untrue, strict actions will be taken including debarring the candidate from all the selections/examinations conducted by the commission, it said. Furthermore, appropriate legal action under the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) will be initiated against the candidate.
